Michael Smira’s immersive approach to representation of buyers and sellers is evident in the quality of each client experience. His strong work ethic, engaging personality, and unwavering desire to provide the highest level of service has placed him in top tier status in production volume in just two years after becoming licensed as one of the top 100 real estate professionals in the area.

Michael’s skill as a broker can be traced to a lifelong association with the world of real estate. From a young age, his family was involved with rental properties and actively buying and selling investment property. His sister, a top producing broker in the Washington, D.C. market recently sold her own real estate company last year. Described as easygoing, fun, intense, and persistent, he places client needs above all else and enjoys a strong work ethic at all hours of the day. That accessibility is a direct benefit to clients as well as other brokers and the parties they represent.

Prior to graduating with a degree in marketing from Portland State University, he was a group counselor and mentor for individuals with drug and alcohol addiction. He is a community advocate including involvement with Big Brother Big Sister, Basic Rights Oregon, Human Rights Campaign Federal Club and has also supported the Emanuel Randall Children’s Hospital and African American Coalition.

When not helping clients, he is exploring the city, playing tennis, travelling internationally to maintain knowledge of global markets, and appreciating art – especially the paintings produced by his father who maintains a gallery in Provincetown, Massachusetts.
